It's already happening. All of it. If they have bad enough judgment to vote the other way, they'll probably get the weather forecast wrong, too. F*ck 'em.

I could not agree more. It's not just ideas, it's the actions that their vote is advocating. During his first term when I was looking for a professional to perform a service I started asking them who they supported. I told them I did not want to discuss politics but I do not want to work with somebody I can't respect and I can't respect the Trump supporter. Then I would ask him if we have a problem. One person hedged and I thank him and told him I'd look for somebody else. That is my right

I could not agree more. This time they knew who they chose. They wanted him. I have to remember that he received fewer votes than before. So the millions who stayed home and didn’t vote for either candidate chose him as well.

Right on, Shira! One thing I might add: Speaking for myself and, I suspect, many others, I cannot befriend the stone cold stupid.

Yes. Already happening. The parallels to pre-war Nazi Germany make my skin crawl.

ABSOLUTELY! I’ve been sharing widely - you articulate the essence of my “ no, we cannot” in ways I could not. Thank you .

With a sadly broken heart, I agree with you, SJ. The squirm-and-revulsion-inducing stance of some of these cowardly and inauthentic people makes me want to vomit all over them when they shuffle, smiling and manipulative, into my conversations. I'm struggling with hoping that they are the first to 'pay' through complete disillusionment or worse, but that would mean that it is bad for the rest of us, too, and I don't wish that on any sane supporter of wisdom, Harris/Walz, and our former democratic ideals. I want to block them all into outer space, but my worse side wants to see them when the world shouts 'I told you so!' at them.

I'm with you 100% and I'll be there anytime you need me. And I mean day or night , a bed, food, money. I don't have much but I will share & have a couple people I can always call on to help. No, we can't be friends,

If you could not see trump intents on destroying the US. People who elected him just didn't listen to what so many were telling you over and over. Uou couldn't believe he was a conman, cheater and fruad and dangerous about 16 years ago. I knew Way back when he thought he was a big TV STAR. And he's only gotten worse. So sorry now. Goodbye.

I read a grim analysis in the Guardian—these guys plan to survive and throw everyone else overboard. That’s why they tell us not to worry about global warming and worldwide drought. They’ve been buying private islands and building survivalist refuges. Not stupid in terms of short term self interest, just oblivious to danger they think they alone can escape.

Wonder who’s gonna grow their survivalist food? Who’s gonna keep the rest of us from overrunning their private islands?
